Homemade Mustard Sauce
Ingredients for Homemade Mustard Sauce

Method for Homemade Mustard Sauce
Step 1
Melt 1 tbsp butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Add 0.33 tsp grated nutmeg, stirring continuously.
Step 2
Cook for about 2 minutes, stirring constantly. Reduce heat to medium, and gradually add 3 dl milk while continuously whisking.
Step 3
Allow the sauce to simmer for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Season with 1 tbsp rough Dijon mustard, 1 tbsp fine Dijon mustard, and 1 tsp Coleman’s mustard powder. Bring to a boil and season with salt and pepper to taste.
